Q. Who is eligible to participate?
For Industry Level Excellence Awards:
Any legally registered business in Bangladesh may apply, provided they meet the criteria of at least one of the following areas:
- Leather Tannery
- Footwear Industry
- Leather Products Industry
- Any Forward and Backward Linkage Industry of Leather / Footwear / Leather Products Industry
For Individual Milestone Awards:
Any individual working in at least one of the following areas:
- Leather Tannery
- Footwear Industry
- Leather Products Industry
- Any Forward and Backward Linkage Industry of Leather / Footwear / Leather Products Industry
- Any stakeholders who work / support for advancement of Leather / Footwear / Leather Products Industry
Q. What does “Support Service Changemaker” include?
This includes Forward and Backward Linkage Industry of Leather / Footwear / Leather Products Industry that support the Leather / Footwear / Leather Products sector, such as outsole factories, embroidery units, accessories, trims, packaging materials, or even input services like testing, educational and training initiatives, development partners initiatives etc.

Submission & Nomination
Q. Will anonymous submissions be accepted?
In case of third-party nominations, nominator must include his/her name and contact information, so that the engagement team can reach out to the nominated company and inform them who submitted the nomination.
Q. Can I make multiple nominations? Does it increase the chances of becoming a finalist?
Yes, you can do multiple nominations. Submitting more than one nomination does not increase your chances, each nomination is assessed independently and fairly based on merit.
Q. Can I submit for more than one category?
Yes, as long as your organization meets the eligibility criteria for each category, you may submit multiple entries using separate forms.
Q. When do submissions close?
The official deadline for all submissions is listed on the Awards homepage.
Q. Can I add or edit my submission after it has
been submitted?
Once a form is submitted, if you need to add supporting material, please email us directly at connect@footwearexchange.com
Judging & Confidentiality
Q. Who sees my submission?
Your information will only be accessed by the Footwear Exchange Team and the appointed panel of judges for your category. All judges are bound by a confidentiality agreement. No data will be viewed by other parties without permission.
Q. Is the judging process confidential?
Yes. All judging discussions are strictly confidential. Judges only access entries relevant to their assigned categories and sign a formal Code of Conduct.
Q. What happens if I become a finalist?
Finalists will be notified by email. You will receive a finalist seal and a press release to promote your achievement.
